How long have you been doing this?
I’ve been a full-time lifestyle photographer for nearly 6 years. That may not seem long to most, but it comes with 7+ years of experience in the photography world running as a photographer part-time before I left my corporate career to pursue this entrepreneur life, running my own business and working with phenomenal peeps all day, e’re day.

What is your style?
If you’re looking for picture perfect, I may not be what you’re looking for. I thrive off of authenticity, photographing women and families as they are - in their element. Now, awkward is never how I want you to feel, so if you’re the type to never know what to do with your hands, I am there for you. During any session, I provide prompts to put you at ease and help you create your own authentic moments. Not every session is the same, and neither are the wonderful people I photograph - my editing style may vary as I match my editing to the individual(s).

What sessions do you offer?
A large part of my business is working with women, brands, and families. If you’re interested in a session with me, you can inquire or book by filling out my booking form.

Can you photoshop me?
I believe in promoting self love and never using photoshop to alter the way you look. I am in the business of celebrating beauty and authenticity, but if you truly feel self-conscious about something, let me know - I can help with poses to help you be your most confident during our time together. I do remove temporary blemishes and stray hairs if the image calls for it.

I hate my photo being taken, and look awkward in photos…
I hear you, and I see you. I lost the will to look super cool in photos, pose the “right way”, blah blah - I started feeling better about it all when I just gave up and acted like myself. When you’re with me, I will ease and relax you to the point you’ll forget the lens and get down with your bad self, have a great time, coming out the other side with amazing images + great memories.

Do you help with planning outfits, etc.?
Absolutely! This is one of my favorite parts of a session. Once you’re booked we get on it! The right outfit can do so much in making you feel comfortable, relaxed, and most of all - yourself. I totally get the urge to “dress up” for photos, and if dressing up is your thing, GO FOR IT. But I’m a believer in showing off the true you, and if that’s jeans and a t shirt, than I can help you pick the best of your collection to go with our location. Need a little inspiration? GAH, I’m so geeked for my session, what do I need to do to prepare?
I love how pumped you are, because believe me, I feel the same way. Once we figure out the best date and set a time - I’ll start sending you my outfit guide, questionnaire, and either meet up in person or for a virtual hangout + star planning! I want you to feel comfortable with me, even if that’s from a 15 minute facetime chat! The more comfy you are with me beforehand, the more relaxed and natural your photos will be. So all you need to do is be yourself, start getting giddy on outfits and enjoy the ride!

I want to print my images, where do you recommend?
I try to make it so easy on you by connecting your online album with a professional printer you’re able to access when looking at all of your beautiful images! I always HIGHLY encourage you to print your images and not have them live in the dark on your computer and to print with a professional print lab. Let them live happily on your walls or in albums that spark joy every time you see them.

To print through your online album, hover over the image you want to print. You’ll see a shopping cart, and once you click the cart, you’re immediately prompted to pick your size and photo type - making it easier at checkout. That’s it! Check out the different options at ProDPI, my trusted printing service I use to deliver you beautiful, professional prints that won’t break the bank. Another option for quality printing, if you wish to go out on your own is Mpix.com.

Done. Sold. How do I get the deposit for my session to you?
There are a variety of ways! My most favorite and what seems to be the easiest is VEMNO (@ayassay). If you’d rather pay with check or credit card, I’m cool with that too - I’ll shoot you over an invoice that you can pay online! Fare-warning that all credit card transactions come with a 3% service fee. Balances are due the day of your shoot.

Do I tip you?
Totally up to you! Just like any service-based business, if you loved your experience you can totally leave a tip. It’s never required, but is an option available to show your love and appreciation for your experience and beautiful photos. I will always be blown away with any extra showing of appreciation you throw in my direction, because it means I’m serving you the best, and it’s what you deserve!
